Duraluminum

The Duraluminum building is our most economical prefabricated building. With it’s anodized aluminum framing and UV resistant FRP exterior wall surfaces it never needs to be painted and will not rust or oxidize. The non-welded construction of the Duraluminum building offers the ability to replace components that may get damaged over time. The Duraluminum building can be adapted to virtually any application and offers a variety of aesthetic options to better fit the look that you are wanting for your site.

HDD – Heavy Duty Aluminum Sliding Door

Porta-King’s standard top hung sliding door is constructed of maintenance-free 1-3/4″ tubular anodized aluminum with upper window and insulated lower panel. A high-security, laminated hookbolt lockset is also included as a standard.

Porta-King’s standard swing door is constructed of maintenance-free 1-3/4″ tubular anodized aluminum with upper window and insulated lower panel and features an ADA compliant lever lockset. Custom locksets are also available.

Transaction Window

Perfect for transacting applications, the energy saving transaction window option features a half-height sliding panel in an anodized aluminum frame with cam-lock for trouble-free, secure operation.

Security Screens

For increased security we offer painted, expanded metal security screens to protect the windows and doors vandalization. The screens are available as fixed or removable to fit the application.

Roll Down Shutters

Our Duraluminum buildings are available with optional Roll Down Shutters to protect the windows and doors from vandalism and flying debris. Roll down shutters are also used in cashier/transaction applications to cover the transaction windows when not in use.

Standard Sliding Window

Consist of a maintenance free clear anodized aluminum frame, glazed with 3/16” tempered safety glass. The operation of the horizontal sliding widow consists of a fixed sash on one side and the other slides in from of the inoperable sash.

Porta-King prefabricated buildings are available with optional factory installed faux stone finishes. Faux stone is extremely durable and very realistic in appearance.

Porta-King prefabricated buildings are available with optional factory installed thin brick exterior finishes. A wide variety of color options are available to match many on site brick structures.
Duraluminum Standard Wall Construction

Standard

The exterior walls of the Duraluminum building feature a maintenance free, UV resistant FRP.

Extended Roof Overhang

Extended roof overhangs of up to 24″ are available on many of our Duraluminum models and can be incorporated on 1, 2, 3 or all 4-sides.

Our Duraluminum buildings are available with optional standing seam metal hip roofs. The typical standing seam hip roof features a 24″ high peak with prefinished metal panels.

The standard exterior roof on our Duraluminum buildings feature a 3″ overhang, 4″ high fascia, integral gutters and white EPDM membrane with 10-year limited warranty against leaks.

Thru Wall HVAC

Our Duraluminum buildings are available with optional through the wall heating/air conditioning units. These units are available in a wide range of outputs to fit the needs of most applications and environments.
Ductless HVAC

Ductless HVAC

Highly efficient way to heat and cool a single or multi-room enclosure without the need for a large condensing unit or space stealing ductwork. Buildings are prepped for an easy on-site installation by a licensed mechanical contractor.

The Durasteel is our most customizable preassembled building. The welded steel construction design offers strength and durability of many years of trouble-free service. Every Durasteel building is custom designed from the base frame to the roof. Time tested design features and superior fit and finish are the trademark of every Durasteel building.

Steel Sliding Door

Standard steel sliding doors consist of an 18-gauge exterior grade 3068 door leaf. The door is painted with a two-part polyurethane. Optional vision lites are glazed with 3/16” tempered safety glass.

Steel Swing Door

Steel swing doors consist of a 18-gauge door leaf installed into a welded steel tube frame. Optional vision lites are glazed with 3/16” tempered safety glass.  Other glazing options are available.

Fixed windows consist of a painted steel stop on the exterior to match the exterior color, glazed with 3/16” tempered safety glass.

Horizontal wall reveals on the Durasteel building create a unique exterior appearance by including welded 16 gauge steel pans to the exterior face of the walls.

Standard

The exterior walls of the Durasteel consist of a 16-gauge steel, painted with a two-part polyurethane. Wall thickness varies to address seismic and insulation value. requirements. Interior and exterior surfaces are painted with a two – part polyurethane paint.

Thru wall HVAC units are shipped separately for on-site installation into a factory installed framed opening. A range of heating and cooling outputs are available.

Ductless HVAC

Ductless HVAC units are an economical and efficient way to condition the inside space of one of our enclosures. A single, small, condenser unit placed outside can be used in conjunction with indoor wall mounted evaporator unit(s) to condition single or multi-room enclosures.

The Ballistic Rated Prefabricated Durasteel building is our high security prefabricated building which is available in UL levels 1-8 and NIJ III and IV. The all welded steel construction offers strength and durability for many years of trouble-free use. The building includes ballistic rated steel plate which extends from grade to roof line to achieve a fully bullet resistant structure. The Durasteel building can be adapted to virtually any application and offers a variety of aesthetic options to better fit the look that you are wanting for your site.

Ballistic Rated Sliding Door

Porta-King’s standard top hung ballistic-rated sliding door is UL listed, constructed of ballistic rated steel and is suspended from a heavy duty overhead track with roller assembly. A high-security lock set is also included as a standard.
