UTEC needed a large enclosure that would house multiple robots. Because these robotic machines utilize class 4 welding and cutting lasers, this enclosure had to be sturdy, secure, and absolutely pristine. In response to UTEC’s stringent requirements, Porta-King designed a mezzanine solution. Porta-King’s structure, wrapped with a Versa-King steel clad enclosure, could be installed directly at the factory. Designed with high speed doors and other safety equipment, the structure was tested for safe use with class 4 lasers before delivery.
