Porta-King Designed a Sturdy Solution for Belle Glade’s Nature Lovers
Porta-King knew they needed to design a pre-fabricated observation tower that would stand up to high winds and corrosion. Because the tower was intended for public access, it needed to be large enough for several people and dependable enough to meet stringent safety requirements. In addition, the site location was rather challenging, so the tower needed to be designed as a pre-engineered structure to facilitate a quick on-site assembly with minimal disruption to the environmental conditions unique to the Everglades.
Porta-King came up with a foundation design and roof system that would meet the city’s needs. They designed and built a 18’ by 18’ by 22’ observation tower, which they delivered and installed on time and within Belle Grade’s budget.
