| Ticket Booth with Custom 8-Sided Design |
This is a Duraluminum 10’x8' eight sided ticket booth with custom paint, wood siding, tinted tempered safety glass, standing seam roof, signage, hand-hole and speak-hole in windows and exterior stainless steel shelves.
Porta-King worked in conjunction with the customer to create a highly customized ticket booth for use at this popular peer in New York City. We used a custom extrusion designed specifically for this application to create the octagonal shape. Wood paneling was added to the bottom to help create the classic appearance the customer required for this application.
A standing seam roof was added to further enhance this classic look. The signage at the top of the booth was created using a special font style specified by the customer. The checkerboard pattern around the perimeter of the building was created with a custom decal. Speaker holes were added to enable easy communication between the attendants and patrons. This building arrived from our factory on a flat-bed truck. This allowed a crew to off-load the building from the truck and complete the installation within a few minutes.
Because our booths are shipped preassembled from our factory, they can be picked up and moved at anytime. This feature was of particular importance for this application since the customer would be moving this unit into storage during the off-season. This particular building also included a pre-installed electric package in accordance to the customer’s specifications. Included in this electric package was a through wall HVAC unit located in the back of the unit to provide climate control inside. Proper coordination of the on-site electrical hook-up was assured because of detailed approval drawings supplied to our customer for final review prior to fabrication. The drawings clearly identify all critical dimensions including floor cutouts where existing electrical service would be brought into the building.
